Valerian root is sweet with a perfumed, musky aroma and has been used for centuries in Europe as a bedtime tea. 

The combination of ingredients works well together for promoting deep sleep. The flowers: lavender, rose, chamomile, and lemon balm, calms the body and then the Valerian root does its work to put you to sleep.
